Nossa Senhora da Conceição Convent
Located in the village of Almodôvar, it belonged to the Third Order of S. Francisco and was founded in 1680 by Frei Evangelista, the first stone being laid on 2 September of that year. All its altars are gilded carvings from the late 17th and early 18th centuries.
